We’re hearing this question frequently this year. The simple answer (and only correct one) is “We don’t know”. We do know that investors hate uncertainty, and that distaste is reflected in the recent volatile markets. Given that this year’s election uncertainty is higher than normal, we believe it is fair to expect that market volatility will be higher than usual through the rest of the year..
